Studio Sound Samples

I went into a recording studio with local bluesman and Fat Dog customer Jimmie Meade of the band Levee Town to demonstrate what the different Fat Dog amplifiers sound like.  We had a few different microphones to choose from, which will be evident in the various sound clips.

studio First Jimmie played the Model 2A, using a new Shure 520DX Green Bullet,  Electrovoice RE-18 and RE-10, an antique Shure magnetic bullet, and a Dennis Oellig custom bullet.

For comparison purposes, we had considered testing a 59 Bassman or a Blues Jr. but we didn't have easy acces to these amps on short notice.  If you would be interested in hearing such a comparison, let me know and we'll see if we can get it done.
